System: Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant
The plant to be built in stages reaching a capacity of 40,000m3/day. EMCO has constructed the civil works for the plant capacity of 20,000 m3/day while the plant electromechanical works supplied and installed is for the plant capacity of 10,000 m3/day at this stage. The supporting structures such as the Main building, workshop, chemical storage room, laboratory, and fencing were constructed for the total plant capacity of 40,000 m3/day ultimate flow.
The plant is based on Activated Sludge Process that will treat a Daily Average Flow of 10,000 m3/day with Peak Hourly Flow of 625 m3/hr. Flow will be collected from the lifting station built 12 meters below the sea water level.
The Preliminary Treatment includes Grit Removal, primary treatment include DAF System, tertiary Treatment consist of disk filters, Ultrafiltration skids & activated carbon filters, Sludge Treatment consist of Sludge Thickening, Sludge Digester, Centrifuge sludge decanter and Odor Control is achieved via Activated Carbon system and Single Stage Chemical Scrubber system.
