

Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer
The Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring the quality of manufacturing for water and wastewater treatment systems and plants. Collaborating with design, project management, procurement and manufacturing staff on the application of technical expertise to assure product quality.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervising the quality of manufactured systems, plants and components
- Conducting audits for manufacturing
- Auditing and controlling the quality records (submittal, test records, etc. ) as per project requirements
- Issuing non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, corrective action requests and preventive action requests.
- Preparing weekly and monthly audit reports and trend analysis
- Providing proper feedback on requirements, status and progress of implementing the quality system related requirements.
- Conforming to ISO standards and Health and Safety quality system procedures and requirements.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering standards (ASME, API, AINSI etc…)
- Developing and implementing quality standards for continual improvement of product and process quality
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years related experience in the field of engineering and QAQC
- Experience in steel fabrication and manufacturing
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to the manufacturing of water and wastewater treatment plants, components and systems
- Excellent engineering technical skills
- Training and experience in quality assurance and quality control especially ISO 9001 standards.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to read drawings and manufacture accordingly
- Knowledge of various material used
- Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering standards (ASME, API, AINSI etc…)
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated computer skills.
- Supervisory ability
