EMCO has successfully completed the commissioning of one of the most sophisticated RO projects in Iraq – Daura Refinery RO. The plant was implemented according to the latest and most stringent oil industry standards and was executed under a very difficult execution landscape and within a very short timeframe. The plant is fully automated using the latest automation tools from ABB – ABB Freelance 800 DCS System. The plant will provide the refinery with essential high purity water to help increase the refined oil capacity needed in Iraq, which is of great strategic importance to the country today. This project further supports EMCO’s role as a leading Water Solutions Provider in the industry. We are confident this project will be another stepping stone for EMCO to capitalize on, further advancing our role in the Iraqi oil sector, which we see as one of the most strategic market sectors for us in the next 10 years.
